Ford already has the Maverick equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 250 horsepower (186 Kilowatts) however the ST will require a little more power. The simplest solution is an extra boost from the EcoBoost engine, coupled with a powerful exhaust system that can reach the 300 horsepower (224-kW) benchmark. It could be quite enjoyable with an all-wheel-drive system and a dual-clutch gearbox. However, putting the twin-turbo V6 is a huge improvement.
