New 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor For Sale, Price, Redesign

New 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor For Sale, Price, Redesign – The new Bronco is not the most anticipated thing. That’s because of its high-performance cousin, the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor. We aren’t sure if Ford will call it Raptor, Warthog, or both, but we’ll stick with the former until proven otherwise. It will follow the same formula as the regular Bronco but with retro-themed styling, removable body panels, and other attractive enhancements. These will include a twin-turbo V-6 of 400 horsepower, a more rigid suspension, and desirable off-road equipment like 37-inch tires. We’ll be continuing to build anticipation for the hi-po Bronco as we make our first impressions of this more mainstream model. Here are our current knowledge.

Engine and Performance

We have been informed that Ford will not put a V-8 into the Bronco. Therefore, we expect the top-performance Bronco to be equipped with an EcoBoost V-6. The most powerful Bronco model has a twin-turbo V-6 of 2.7-liters. It makes 310 horsepower and 400lb-ft torque. We expect the Bronco Raptor to use either the 400-hp Twin-Turbo 3.0-liter V-6 from the Explorer ST or the 450-hp Twin-Turbo 3.5-liter in the F-150 Raptor. The latter also matches the Hemi V-8 Jeep teased in the Wrangler 392 Concept. The Ford will likely get a 10-speed automatic transmission, an advanced all-wheel-drive system, and a Hemi V-8 engine. These should be able to work together with select drive modes. To be able to power over dunes and jump through the air, the Bronco Raptor needs a stronger suspension setup. We saw this prototype camouflaged version. Another set of photos showed the test mule riding on huge 37-inch tires under what appeared to be pronounced fender flares.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

Ford and the EPA have not released fuel-economy ratings on the 2022 Bronco Raptor. We will be able to evaluate the real-world mpg once these figures are available. Visit the EPA website for more information on the Bronco Raptor’s fuel economy.

Interior

The interior design and dimensions of the Bronco Raptor, despite its superior off-road capabilities, will be the same as the regular Bronco. It should have rubberized flooring, marine-grade vinyl upholstery, and an overhead set auxiliary toggles. Leather seats are also available for those who desire a more luxurious cabin. We don’t know if the Raptor will have only two doors, but we are confident that there will be a version with four doors. The Bronco Raptor will be offered with either a soft-top or a hardtop. We also expect removable body panels. Ford claims that frameless doors are very easy to remove. The exterior mirrors that mount on the windshield’s base should be retained and can still be used when the doors are removed. It should also have a crack in the dashboard’s top that can hold smartphones or GoPros. These devices can be connected to nearby 12-volt outlets.

Connectivity and Infotainment

The Bronco Raptor will likely feature Ford’s new Sync 4 interface. It will also power a large touchscreen mounted in the middle. Modern features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspots should be included in the infotainment system. Built-in navigation is a must and a powerful Bang & Olufsen audio system is also desirable.

Safety and driver-assistance features

Its driver-assistance technology will be similar to Bronco’s regular Bronco. This includes equipment that makes rock crawling low speed and driving on trails more enjoyable. Visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety websites for more information on the Bronco Raptor’s crash-test results. The following safety features are likely to be key:

  • Automated emergency braking and forward-collision warning are available
  • Available lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance
  • Blind-spot monitoring available and rear cross-traffic alert
