Simpson’s birthday. Customers have been subject to delays and difficult tops since the unveiling. Ford has decided to no longer accept online reservations. This is the latest twist. Detroit Free Press first reported the news. They obtained a memo from Ford that was sent to dealers. The memo stated that the company had “paused creating new [online] reservations Bronco vehicles” due to “the high number of Bronco 2-and 4-door model orders and current commodities constraints”.

The memo stated that customers should work directly with dealers to determine if they are able to obtain a stock vehicle that has been built or scheduled for delivery. It also suggested that deliveries of Broncos ordered today may not arrive until next year.
Redesign
Bronco customers now receive a message that says, “Interested in a Bronco?” For more information on the options and timing, contact your local Ford Dealer. Bronco deliveries will continue through 2022 due to high demand for 2- and 4-door Broncos. This is temporary, however, as the memo stated that the company would “communicate an idea to reopen reservations whenever available”. It also said that the change was due to feedback from dealers who had been overwhelmed with customers looking to purchase a Bronco.

Ford believes that the suspension in online reservations will allow for a bit more breathing room.
