Performance

The Texas tuning company has many plans for the Bronco. It is currently working on a V8 upgrade that will produce 750 horsepower and cost more than $220,000. Hennessey announced in July a cheaper variant, the VelociRaptor 400. The twin-turbo V6 2.7-liter will be featured in this variant. It will also feature an upgraded high-flow air intake system, new exhaust, and improved engine management software. These modifications will produce 405 horsepower and 503 lbft (682Nm), which are significant gains of 75 HP and 88 Lbft (119Nm) respectively. Hennessey claims that the VelociRaptor 400 will reach 60 mph (96 km/h), in 4.9 seconds.
